500 more years?

500 more years?

If by any chance ther was a fable 3 do you belive it would continue 500 more years into the future I mean think about it.
Fable/ Fable TLC -1000 swords, bows
Fable 2 - 1500 swords, bows, GUNS
Fable 3 - 2000 GUNS, CARS, TANKS, NUCLEAR POWER.

If it had cars and tanks and nuclear power, than it wouldn't be FABLE any more to me

This isn't even the right FORUM!!!

Not to mention your "timeline" is completely innacurate. Guns originated in the early 1400's in europe, and earlier in Asia. Oh man, I am having a hard time keeping myself from spewing obscenities...


EDIT: I will put 100 dollars down on the table that they won't make a Fable 3. If they did why would they put it another 500 years into the future?

I agree with both of you. but if there were to be a Fable 3 do you belive it would be placed in a different land? and sorry for the wrong dates but as long as you catch my drift you understand.

I couldn't even begin to think up ideas for fable 3. I haven't even seen the full extent of two.

Your Right best leave Fable 3 until we've beat Fable 2.:lol:

I have a feeling Peter M won't want to do another Fable. One of the main things that is driving him is to make the game the way he always wanted it to be. Once he has done that he will likely move on to of ventures. That being sain, it is more likely that he will go back to the time of Arkon and the Old Kingdom than forward to modern times.

One of Assassins Creed's sequels,on the other hand, WILL be in more modern times.

The question os: Will Fable II be the game of his dream, his... vision? Obivously he wasn't all that satisfied with the way Fable ended up - not finished on time, many promised features left out aswell as alot of content they simply didn't had the time to implent.

There's also always the chance that Peter wont make it, but someone else who takes over. It's happened before, it could happen with Fable.
But adding nuclear weapons and such would take away from it. It wouldn't be Fable anymore. So I don't think they would add things like that. Maybe place it in a different land, but definitly not add nuclear weapons

Definitely. I'd say you wouldn't even have to place it in the future, make it in the present day and it'd feel alot more like GTA than Fable.

So.. what would be a reasonable time?

Medival times(Fable) - "Pirate times"(Fable II) - ????(Fable III...?) - Present Day - Future

well, this supposedly takes place in a totally different world than our own. Maybe they wont even move forward. Or something will happen to prevent them from moving forward. Like Sin, in Final Fantasy X. He literally stopped all the populations from advancing cause everyone was afraid of him.

I cant imagine a Fable 3, actually xD

I really think it would be during the old kingdom not modern times. Here's hoping that there is one in either case or at least expansions for it, which I've heard are a lot easier to make than a whole new game so the profit on them is very high.

Agreed. You've barely seen a glimpse of 2 and already your spawning ideas about the 3rd one.

If there were a 3rd one and I'm using that if lightly, then I imagine it would take place some where else on the map of Albion that wasn't revealed in the first Game. If you remember correctly you could only see half of the land on that map. I would venture a guess it would be over there, or possibly the 2nd one is I don't know.

Thats why I'm going to play Fable 2 and then make speculations once 3 is confirmed for Production in a year and a half from now.
