A bit of trouble with the game...

Ok i am at the poiint where my main Character just returned from the tattered spire. and hammer recomends that i visit my spouse and kid, well when i do go to where they are, the spouse is nowhere to be found and all my kid does is stand there!? anyone know why? this is like the second time it has done this to me. the first time i deleted my hero and started anew with this one and i have gotten the same results....


help me please....

It's just a glitch, spouses disappear sometimes. There's really no fix except for setting the daily upkeep to 0, and waiting for her to divorce you.

These are actually 2 common (and related) glitches.

The first is the disappearing wife, for which the only fix is divorce through setting the daily upkeep to zero (like Necromancer said).

The second is the unresponsive child, which will sometimes fix itself after a few quests, sometimes fix itself after moving marital homes, and sometimes (though this last one is more likely) fix itself through the quest after the main storyline where you child runs away.

However since your wife is missing too, I recommend doing a few quests then checking back on her, and if she doesn't reappear, doing what necromancer said.

I doubt she will reappear unless she's divorcing you. I've tried to make it happen many times, I've had no luck.

And if you're getting the unresponsive child glitch with the missing spouse glitch, it won't get fixed until your wife divorces you. I've actually had the unresponsive child glitch most of the time when my wife disappeared, and nothing fixes it except getting a divorce. However, for future reference, if your child becomes unresponsive without your spouse gone missing, I think that is fixable via the methods that Terminal Happiness mentioned.

I have heard about this before with minor differences. I will see what I can find out and later I will come back and tell you.

Okay, apparently, several people say it happened at the same time it did to you. They gave there spouse a ring while they were already married and think that may have to do with it. Did you give your spouse a ring while you were already married?

one other question. if i hae them divorce me. and i get remarried how do i get my kid to grow up? or does it only happen after the quest of the spire?

After the spire quest, your kid can grow up after spending a certain amount of time with them being a baby.

So your saying that now i can make them grow up without haveing to do the spire mission? so i can have like 2 kids grow up if i wanted to?
