A little appology

I just wanted to say, I should critisize less, fable 2 is a great game and I shouldnt be so harsh on them as I have been. If it were my work I wouldnt be so happy with such negative critisism.

It's the main reason why I didn't read any info prior to Fable 2's release - I knew the hype would be much bigger than the game itself and I didn't want to be disappointed. Plus so many rumours and misinformation flying around did not help matters, I think.

I see it as - could I make something of equal or better quality/depth/design etc within both the time and budget constraints? Answer is most emphatically NO. So who am I to bitch and moan that a game isn't up to "my standards" when I haven't the first clue how to even begin to make one?

I think it's a game that we have to adjust to, with all the extra stuff that's in it. With over 5 profiles and listening to the npc's and constantly checking the jobs available, it has been a wonderful game to play.
Especially the underground quests.

It's a Japanese RPG - turn based - like Final Fantasy and Lost Odyssey are. I had it but although it's beautiful it did my head in because I was never strong enough for the next boss fight and I hated running around levelling up just to progress (which is pretty much what all JRPG's require of you) so I sold it. but it is honestly one of the most beautiful games you will see - if I had the patience I would have kept it and stuck it out if only for the storyline but I didn't...still worth getting though, if you like those sorts of games.

I never spent time levelling in eternal sonata I got through it just fine. I only died a couple of times. And btw for anyone interested it's not turn based as such, it's hard to explain it but it is half way between turn based and real time. If anyone has played any of the "tales of" games it's similar to that. The battle system is imo the best aspect of the game (along with the beautiful scenery of course).

I had lost Oddessey till I accidently broke disc one, and had a very hard time staying alive. It's beautiful, but impossible for me to beat those stupid crab cteatures. Maybe one day I will get another copy for disc one?

I watched most of the interviews and demos by PM. And i wasn't disappointed at all.
