A little wonderland [2]
I woke up in an odd place, filled with colors I can't even describe, a thousand scents traveled the air and it was the best thing I had ever smelt or seen. Trees taller than Earthly mountains looked down on me and smiled, a raccoon in the color of a rainbow licked my toes, I reached down and petted him slowly, I felt at peace for a time, in my own little wonderland, until it ended... A loud crash from the city streets awoke me from my slumber and that majestic wonderland, and all I knew was everything I had seen was a dream, again my pillow was in an odd position, across the room standing straight up. Out of the dream and into the nightmare, my dull walls peeled as the toilet flushed noisely, a scream echoed from the pipeline followed by a crunch, all was back to normal here.
I rose from my bed to wander about my room fixing up the unsightly desks and shelves, I began to mosey into the living room when the door shrank before my very eyes, or eye it was at this point, as my left eye had fallen from it's socket and turned a rather queer shade of green. "Bollocks" I exclaimed; scooping it up and swallowing it. The door reopened for me and I stepped through, another dull room, this one with my room mate and a TV, my room mate sat lazily again, he needed to eat more, he always looked so skin and bone, he smelt rather odd lately too. I grabbed a cockroach from the fridge and put it on my plate, and headed back to bed, the pillow lay now on the bed in a welcoming position, maybe I could find this wonderland again...
