A man in the quarry.

A queer moon lay lightly upon a rippling horizon crying for a meteor to crash into her, a companion to meet and then harm her lightly in a romantic gesture of touch and death, he will die for her and imprint himself upon her never ending life for all to see in a warm summer day.

And so begins a story like many other stories, that is of loss and love.
A young strong man who worked in a stone quarry to build a castle for his King and his crush, her being the King's daughter, a woman of respectable beauty.
He worked all day and long to make stones for a castle eh had never stepped foot in but could see the princess in the highest tower whom he had never spoken too but knew her beauty often as she sometimes visited the farmers and workers, he dare not approach her out of fear of being rude.
Little did he know she was a sadist who preferred pain over love, she often launched arrows into the farms and workplaces for fun, and then his Cupid hit him in an artery, and thus ends the story of the man in the quarry.

A queer moon, it wouldn't happen to be wearing some glitter shoes and leather jacket would it?

:( The story's over already?.. I was really getting into it.

Re: A man in the quarry.

^I have a nasty habit of doing that haha, sorry.

Re: A man in the quarry.

Very short but a good read nonetheless here's +rep for you

Re: A man in the quarry.

^Thank you, as for the length, I have only done one story that was more than a few paragraphs that I considered good, it was about twenty pages long, I posted most of it here once, never got the motivation to do a long one ever after that ^_^
So now I just keep it within Poetry length as I prefer poetry.

Queer essentially means "strange" or "odd". It is one of Lovecraft's favourite words.

I know.

The combination of glitter shoes and a leather jacket doesn't seem odd to you?

Re: A man in the quarry.

^Nope, not at all.

:ninja: Even if the moon was wearing them?

Re: A man in the quarry.

Once you have seen certain shock sites on the web nothing seems odd.
