A question for all you posters here.

How old are you guys? By reading some of the posts it seems like some of you are younger than you should be considering Fable 2 is rated M. I'm just curious to see how many legitimate players there are.

I am 18 by the way.

I am 28 physically, but mentally, i'm 18.
That makes me old enough to know better, but young enough to do it again anyway

Im 22. But dont be fooled, I can be a complete child sometimes. But seriously dag Most of the posters here werent around until the game was released and to tell the truth a lot of them ask some pretty we-todd-edd questions.

Well to be honest I didn't join untill the game was released, but that's because I only post on one other forum, although I have been playing fable religiously since fable 1 came out.

i didn't join till the game came out either. i joined up for 2 reasons. gargoyle locations, and to substitute my urge to play the game while working away from home 8 days at a time

jk I have been playing M since I was young too, my first game was Turok. But it is gratifying being able to buy my own games, my local gamestop doesn't even ask for ID from me anymore.

Kids, stop it, you make me feel old. i've been playing games since the commdore 64 and Atari 2600 were around, playing games like Frogger and River Raid. I Don't think Mario was around yet either. I was probably about 8 yrs old at the time.

Aw, don't feel bad, I'm all old-like, too. I started my gaming on the Intellivision*.

*Okay, fine, so the Intellivision isn't THAT old and the only reason I played Intellivision was because my parents didn't get us a Sega Genesis until I was somewhere between five and seven; and the Intellivision actually came out before I was even born, but FINE, see if I try to console anyone ever again, punching holes in my statements.

Oh, wait, I was the one punching holes. Never mind.

But yes, I'm 18... but then, my mom got me Fable 1 when I was fifteen (or was it fourteen? 16, maybe? [goes to check release date] AH, yes, I was fourteen) so clearly the "M" rating on that didn't matter all that much.

And yes, I know what you're saying. We've had incoherent morons in their twenties and verbose, erudite 12-year-olds alike. Sometimes it's hard to tell the difference; and sometimes they seem to be both at once, but still.

lmao!! Here here! I am 29 Years old, eek! did i say that out loud I will be 30 in May. I have been gaming for as long as i can remember, my husband and i actually met online on Everquest 1, 6 years ago Cant help myself i love to game:w00t:

Everyones welcome here. I just urge you guys to research before you ask questions like "Where can I open the chest with the halo armor", but there is a time to learn.
As for the age thing, Im a game design student and I dont want these uptight soccer moms taking my job away because minors dont follow the rules, but the truth is some games shouldnt carry the M.
Heres a chart:
Boys under 17 + violence+porn + M rated games and movies = brainwashed
Girls under 17 + miley cyrus + The OC+ pop music and disney = brainwashed
Its all about content.
