Can I say that I kinda have a huuuge hardon for it?

It's awesome. It's simple, it's distinctive, and it's generally kinda awesome.

The rebel flag, I mean, the gold saltire on red. I've seen that all over the place. Not so much the other one, which I've only seen in the sigs of a few people.

My one problem with it is that it is a rebel flag that is a saltire on red. There's no intentional connection to the Confederate battle flag and it doesn't remind me of it, but still. Also, red and gold? Spanish colors. On the other hand, they're also Maryland colors! Black, gold, red, and white.

I dont get it....

I like flags in general, and they've used several flags in the advertising for the game. Specifically, I like the one that popped up in a few videos. Tyrant and Hands have the two in their sigs that don't really interest me. Too cluttered and ugly. But this nice, simple one has been in a few videos recently. Kinda like this:

edit: Or did you mean the part where I started rambling about Confederate battle flags and Spanish colors and such? That was just general incoherence.

You're crazy. Stop being so crazy all the time.

I'm trying to refrain myself from denouncing your monumental ignorance and apparent Scot-centrism, because I really shouldn't be that ****ed.

To enlighten you, Scots are not the only ones who use a saltire. In point of fact, the very flag to which I am referring is already extant. Apparently. it's used by:

AH Austria-Hungary Counter-signal
BE Pont-a-Celles, Virton
CH Pont, Porsel, Genthod, Courroux
CZ Carrouge, Křelov-Břuchotín, Zitenice, Hovorčovice
ES Benavent de Segrià, Vilamalla
NL Wijchen, Teteringen
RU Russia All-People's Union (black/white)
SK Lubeník, Štrba (white), Tajov
UA Andrushivka

(And I just copy-pasted from the FOTW page, so those links that I'm seeing almost certainly don't work.)

EDIT: While I'm at it, here's all the people who use a white saltire on a blue field, the "St. Andrew's Cross." And no, the links don't work. You can get them from the link above.

EDIT2: While I'm at it, here's a better version of that flag, taken from FOTW.

It's the flag of a Belgian municipality in that case.

Yeah, but remember that Albion is a fantasy Great Britain, so it would make the most sense that it would be taken from Scotland, not the Russian All People's Union =/

Why? WHY would it make any sense at all that the flag is a "recolor" of the St. Andrew's flag? St. Patrick's cross actually shares a color with it. You might as well say it's a recolor of that. Or any of the many, many other British flags that feature saltires.

Or! Or! I'm just going out on a limb here, but just maybe it's not a recolor at all! WOAH.

personally i'm partial to the japanese flag. they should have used one like that.
why? well, it's extremely simple, has a good color scheme. and when people see it they go "oh, it's got a red dot on it."
then they find out what that red dot is and go "AWWWW SHIIIIII THAT'S THE SUN OMFG IT'S THE GODDAMN SUN
ESSSSS YUUUUU ENNNNNNN"

...the sun...

^ on the contrary, Albion needs to have a Banksy.
