Achievement Problem.

Achievement Problem.

So recently, I decided to play through Gun again. At one point during my playthrough, I checked the achievements for it again. I discovered that it said I only had one achievement, but when I selected the game to view the achievements more closely, it said I had gotten 28 out of 31 like I remembered. For whatever reason, those other 27 aren't being factored into my gamerscore. Does anybody know what could be wrong? Does anyone have any suggestions about how to fix it?

Try getting one of the achievements. If it says you got it (as if you haven't gotten it yet), that sucks. If not then you should be fine because that means you still have the achievements.

Did you happen to get all of those achievements before you signed up to Xbox LIVE? Then grabbed that one other achievement after signing up?

Well during my last playthrough, I did enough to get many of those achievements that I had gotten before, but it still didn't actually give me the points for them or give me that message that you get when you first unlock an achievement. I also just got one of the three remaining achievements just a few minutes ago thinking it might help. I got the message and the points for it, but it didn't affect any other achievements.

I got all of them before getting XBL, even the one it gave me points for. But if that was somehow the reason, it wouldn't make any sense. There are many other achievements I got for other games before I had XBL, and they were still factored into my gamerscore.

Well, I'm assuming Microsoft has fixed the problem by now, but if one were to have earned some achievements before signing up to XBL, when they signed up they would lose their achievements and would have to start all over again (happened to me, and a few others I know of).

I guess your only option is to start a New Game and re-earn those achievements.

That's exactly what I did. If they could just be earned again it wouldn't really have been enough of a problem to start a thread about it, but I can't earn them again.
