Achievements

Has anyone else looked at the achievements? Is it just me, or are they rewarding you more for being evil? I'm not complaining, I'll probably play through it multiple times, but just something I noticed.

Well there are 4 different scopes on the alignment range so yeah... But the achievements are fairly easy to get. especially the end game ones as you can just turn off the game right when you get the achievement

To be honest, I haven't had more than a glance at the Fable II achievements. I know that once I've read 'em, I'll remember 'em and consciously be trying to unlocking 'em as I'm playing. I can sometimes get a little caught up with unlocking achievements and upping my gamerscore and find it detracts from my overall gaming experience. Damn you, achievement system! :P

You don't know the half of it...one of my friends is a gamerscorewhore , he played Saints Row 2 for about 10 minutes and said to me "Well it's time to start getting achievements then, i'm bored"

When you get bored of a game, that is the way to go.
I do the same thing.


I am doing that in Fable 2 now.

Yeah but he had it for 10 minutes...He also sends me message telling me that he has reached 13,000 or 14,000 etc. GS and that he is higher than me and i suck etc etc.

Lol, i must admit, at times i have gone out of my way to get certain achievements and i do like the fact that i have a high gamerscore because i think it proves that i am a gamer but when it gets to the point that you go out and borrow a game jsut to get gamerscore it should stop (e.g. my friend...yeah...he's that lame)

Yea, it is lame to just play a game to get the achievements.
That is unless you get games for free. :P

I like achievements but I like to enjoy the game and after I beat it, I look to see what achievements I need and see if im not too lazy to go and get them.

I think it is settled;
Playing the game is the best part about the game and playing for GS is lame.
