How do you become a member of the forum staff around here?

Editor positions are given to people who contribute news/Updates and articles to the site a lot etc, and Mod positions are given to people who are active, help out, are mature and have an all round good attitude. Basically people who contribute a lot to the forums and help out a lot in many areas and such. No real set parameters to getting on the staff we just pick the people who we think are best suited for the job.

DD pretty much summed it all up. Other than my job, which was pure nepotism of course, everyone else who gets a staff position is awarded it purely on their own merits.
