Adoption

Has anyone else heard about this? Apparently you'll now be able to adopt children in Fable III! I just read this on Wikipedia and wanted to know if anyone else knew, or if i'm just way behind in the Fable III news :L. Here's the part of the article that talks about adoption:

"Marriage and family has also changed, and players will be able to adopt children. This will allow players to have families through homosexual marriage or through a "business partnership"."

Thoughts on this anyone?

Buisness partnership as in Gay marriage. It's illegal in the U.K, so instead homosexuals are allowed something called a buisness partnership or civil partnership. ^_^

Yeh I heard of adoption a while back, will be useful when you marry someone ugly for the followers it'll bring, and don't wanna get freaky with them :lol:

I dislike children so this is one of those features I won't bother with. Unless my child can actually grow up this time around but even still, I'd rather make my own than adopt a child someone didn't want.

I hope children can grow up, and fight with you and stuff and when they **** up and drop their sword during the fight you slice off their heads. :wub:

What I want to know is if you can put your kids up for adoption. Like if I had a friend who was gay, and they got married and wanted a kid, it would be like being a surrogate for them. I think that would be pretty cool :).

We don't know everything about the game yet either. So it might be a possibility or it might not but they haven't said anything yet so... who knows?

I guess. I mean, I just killed my wives in Fable II when I didn't want to deal with a child or a family.

I guess it would be more humane this way. Give my child up for adoption and THEN set my wife on fire.

No it is not humane. Your child deserves to know he is being put up for adoption because his mummy is an annoying, troublesome, gold digging ***** and deserves to die.

Plus itll teach him a valuable life lesson.

And will probably make him a real Hero, I mean, a true Hero's life starts by not having parents.

As someone who is adopted in real life, I appreciate that they have made adoption an option. I think it's pretty neat. I'll leave alone the inane comments made here regarding adopted kids, but feature wise, it's pretty damn rad.

Yeah, I also think that's pretty cool. It makes it a little more realistic, even though we all know how realistic it was in the first place, what with all the magic and balverine attacks, etc, etc :P.
