Aging

I reckon this has been asked a million times before but what if anything apart from spending all that gold at the temple of avo can be done to slow reverse or halt aging?

If avo is the way what do people recommend to get the gold to try and remain young?

i just posted a thread to ask what the consequence is (there was rumors that the glitch causes ingame consequences), But no reply yet.

there are no consequences lol. peter molyneux said there were, then a week later they patched the game and the glitch was gone.

the only alternet root to privent aging besides the temple of avo, whitch only takes away 10 years mind you. would be to not spend the experiance and learn new skills... but its probably already to late for you there... other wise no alternet path for your aging problem

Yo my character had horns and a halo on my character its funny dude I just went 100% evil then did alot of good deeds and then it happened try it

I would keep reloading my previous saves until I got 10 yrs deduction from both temples. Ah! my original Fable days... Memories return! :lol:

I usually just wait til the end of the game... Getting Skorm's Bow and The Sentinus early on and then waiting til the end and making the minor sacrifices/donations to get the age reductions so I can be 45 for the rest of the game.

After sacrificing/donating enough to get Skorm's Bow and The Sentinus respectively it only takes a small ammount of followers/gold to get the age reductions and the titles of Necromancer and Paladin. Though I also suggest getting fairly high stats, starting the Archeologist Quest, getting the age reduction from Avo, hero saving and repeating this process a few times. Once you're down to 18 hero save one last time and do the Archeologist Quest. Then later in the game, if your stats were previously high enough that after you've raised your stats higher and hopefully maxed them that you're between 40 and 50, simply get both age reductions and you'll be 20 to 30. Though I prefer not cheating.
