Aliens: Colonial Marines is alive

After the stunning news that Gearbox Software had revived the seemingly dead Duke Nukem Forever even more news has slipped out from them in the last few days regarding another long missing title.​

Speaking during a panel at PAX, Gearbox head Randy Pitchford reassured fans that the developer hasn't forgotten about its Aliens games, and showed off some fresh images to prove it.

The last time we saw the title was back in magazine previews back in early 2008. Back then they assured fans that Gearbox were still hard at work on the title and not to lose faith.

At PAX, Pitchford said that Gearbox is continuing to work with Aliens movie studio 20th Century Fox and publisher Sega to bring the project along, but (yet again) he wouldn't be pushed on a release date.​
