Amazing is this story

DS Scrabble Game Shocks Parent With Derogatory Word

Long story short a man and his seven year old daughter were playing scrabble on A nintendo DS and they couldnt get the 5 letter word...want to hear the word, yes it was "lesbo" from the english slang meaning lesbian.
I have now lost all faith in mankind, putting slang in scrabble, whats next a chav version of death metal... NEVER

Slang gets into the dictionary all the time for whatever reason... why should a word game be any different? :lol:

once a word is in the dictionary, though, it is no longer slang... even if it is defined as being slang, that's really more of an oxy moron... :lol:

well, the story said he looked it up in the dictionary
and I don't know where that word is offensive or not for children but lesbian or variations of the word lesbian aren't offensive here... so maybe when they made the game it wasn't for them either =]
