Bethesda have today confirmed that they are to release another fix patch for Fallout: New Vegas on all three formats that will pave the way for a new DLC expansion. Fallout: New Vegas senior producer Jason Bergman gave details of the patch but didnt talk much about the DLC and merely said an announcement is 'coming soon'...
Before that arrives though, the team want to deliver a patch to improve the overall game. Optimizations and stability improvements" are the focus of the patch, which has been submitted for approval with Microsoft and Sony. While there are bug fixes, our core focus was on improving stability and performance. We worked directly with first party platform owners to identify issues, and we have fixed a great deal of the crashes and lockups that people were experiencing. In addition, we scoured the forums and this patch includes weapon balance tweaks and other requested fixes. The team also plan to release another update further down the line, and will be keeping an eye on the forums for issues that still arise after the new patch is released.
Cant say fairer than that really...
