Seems like this was a K-mart in Aus. They will be fined and not aloud to sell Gears of War 2...haha!!!

Any store that breaks the release date can expect a hefty fine and legal action, Microsoft never take it lightly.

They sold Halo 3 like a whole month early, they didn't even get in one ounce of trouble.

I never heard about the Halo 3 thing. I doubt this is happening in the U.S. though but I am tempted to call around.

Some stores here broke the release date for Halo 3 and got in some trouble for it. Was rumours that anyone caught playing the game on Live early would get their account banned but Microsoft quickly denied that.

lol dont get agro, i wewd run to every store tonight to try and find if i can buy it but i already spent my fab2 munny on a preorder off amazon.com so itd be useless for me to try. idc if other ppl get to play i b4 te release date cuz it gets dropped off on my door step on the 27th a full week after it is released in ew ess aye

It's interesting that we get it earlier here in the US. I never could figure out why....
