Just curious is anyone here follows boxing (only sport I myself follow lol), forgot about some of the upcoming fights, so was presently surprised when I realised I'd the mayweather/cotto fight and froch/bute fight, both were entertaining and enjoyable.
Obv. I created this thread for saturdays fight, manny pacman/timothy bradley, I thought it was a grand fight, pacman seems to be slipping somewhat in the past few fights but I think he clearly won the fight, can only give bradley a few rounds, nowhere near enough to have him win it, very bad judging in my opinion, perhaps comeuppance for mannys last fight, which people believe he lost but was given the fight, but this was clearly more 1 sided than that fight, and as its said 2 wrongs dont make a right, these decisions shouldnt be made in the first place, unfortunate that the only sport I follow seems to have a massive problem with the judging system - anyone here follow boxing and perhaps seen the fight?

I'm more of a UFC guy.

Y'know, the "sport" where the referee doesn't keep score or nothing, but violently restrain the contenders so they don't beat each other to death.

I love that stuff. It is so absurd.

Never got into UFC tbh, went to a lock of MMA classes a while back but that was just for the exercise, dont follow it, but I can see the appeal lol

If I'm up at the wee hours of the morning, or very late hours of the night, and drunk on something, you bet your sweet arse I'll watch it.

Shame it is on so late since it is live feed from the states.

Yeh know what you mean, I work sundays regularly and start any time from 11am-1pm so its really not worth staying up for a fight, just make it through sunday and download it when I get home lol ( although big fights I end up hearing about the result mid-way through the day anyways :( )

Im not a dedicated follower of Boxing or UFC but I do try and catch the fights when I can as I do enjoy them. I heard about the Pacquiao fight though and everyone I know said that he should have won too.

I haven't followed boxing since the 90s, like Tsuyu I've been more interested in UFC and have found it quite captivating. If MMA keeps going at this pace we'll be having another mainstream sport on our hands and as refreshing as it is I welcome that with open arms.
