Apparently in Fable 2 you wont get money from doing quests.

It`s cool that if the hero only chases his own ambitions, no one knows of him. You have to do other quests not included in the main storyline to become rich and famous.

Yeah. The only money you get is from doing jobs and gambling, and stealing I assume, if they've brought that feature back.

I heard that there's going to be an actual search system so you'd have to search the dead bodies.

Yeah sometimes it does. But you gotta remember how great Fable was and so the people at Lionhead are really smart and have original ideas. So whatever they come up with I know it will be great and we are gonna love it and I don't think that they are gonna stray to far from the original fable ideas, they are just learning from their mistakes and putting in all the great fable features in with a bunch of new and amazing ideas that we will love even more!

Scrapping the money for quests idea is probably the best decision they've made, IMO. With jobs and looting being the only ways of getting gold, your in-game purchases actually have value Now. And one can have the sense of accomplishment when they buy something because they know they've worked for that money, rather than just going through the main storyline and 'miraculously' receiving money for it. PM said that being a hero doesn't mean necessarily mean being wealthy, and I agree with him.

Haha, it kind of reminds me of the original game.
Where sometimes you chop off their head and if you find it before it disintegrates you can actually kick it around :lol:

Exactly, sure it's okay to get fame and renown from doing quests but getting cash from it doesn't make it seem like much of a hero theme.
But this way it seems alot more realistic to get cash from gambling or working.

i agree JoN i think this is just what fable 2 needs to raise the bar over fable 1 all the stuff i've seen so far about fable makes it so much more desirable to get

so i now spend my time making money to buy an 360 just for fable 2!
