Archon's Knot

i was at the level with the spikes in archons knot, i did the thing with the blue orb or whatever and crossed the spikes, when the thing was floating i hit it with my sword and it locked the gate, is there a way to open it again?

Do you mean you've bugged it accidentally, when the blue orb tried to float to the other side? If you did, I don't think you can revert the bug...
