What is this mad rubbish?​

For those who purchase Batman: Arkham City used, the playing of Catwoman will be restricted by a $9.99 payment (or 800MSP). A trend that seems to be picking up in mass thanks to EA sees Warner Bros. encouraging more fresh copy purchases to earn that extra money. For those who purchase the game brand-new, will get an Online Pass to download the Catwoman for free for use in her single-player missions and her challenge maps.​

Warner Bros. ensures that the lack of Catwoman and her 4 story-based missions will not render the single-player incompletable for those who purchase used.​

I don't know about everyone else, but the idea of having to pay to unlock something that is already on the disc is a cheap idea. Sadly, I can only see this getting even more popular among publishers.​

I just don't like EA at all, just look at Dragon Age II - it feels completely unfinished because they requested Bioware rush completion for the basis of making some quick profit. I don't like you EA, you or your face.

I can understand why they do it to be honest as they dont receive any profits for the 2nd hand game sales so they encourage people to purchase the game new.
