Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood pre-orders have been described as Ubisoft's "strongest ever" by CEO, Yves Guillemot.
Quoted in the publisher's estimated Q1 sales results, Guillemot reveals pre-orders for the new Assassin's are already 20% above those for this time last year. We presume that means it's topping ACII, then.
"Assassin's Creed Brotherhood should allow us to reaffirm our position as one of the industry's best multiplayer developers," Guillemot said of the publisher's end-of-year line-up.
"The preorders are the strongest ever seen," he said, "already 20% above those from the same period last year, even before the awards announced following E3."
Elsewhere in the release the Ubisoft CEO promises to offer "a rich line-up of both online games and new titles" for the upcoming hardware launches this year, while confirming that Splinter Cell Conviction's sold 1.9 million copies already this year.
