How do you attach? I say go to your weapon and if it has a free slot then you should have the option of augmenting.

After you watch the cutscene you dont need to use the silver augmentation as any weapon hurts it

Yes, probably be best if you got an Obsidian weapon of some kind, preferably a longsword or greatsword to start out with, depending on you physique. If you have enough money get a master weapon. But yes make sure it has an open slot.

You don't have to actually attach it Once she gives it to you, you can kill the beast.
