Augments equipped but not drawn

I read somewhere that certain augments give some bonus even when not drawn.

i.e. does Lucky Charm work when on my back?

No I think you have to be using the weapon to benefit from its powers. Ive never heard of that though. I have a gun with a Golden Touch augment in it. And I hardy use it so it is always in my pocket, so I use the Daichi more and I don't get money for killing when I use it. Maybe its the same..huummm? xx
