Automatic Money not working

I've read in several places that even when not playing Fable II, you are supposed to continue to make the 5 minute interval money. However, everytime I turn the game back on, it's still what was when I last turned it off.

Is this because I unplug the 360 from the wall or because I don't have the 360 connected to the internet? Or am I doing something wrong? Thanks in advance.

Its probably because you are unplugging the 360. If the 360's clock is resetting to its default then the game doesn't register that any time has past. In fact, its as if time has gone backwards. So the game does not give you money, because it doesn't think enough time has past. I am assuming that after you plug the 360 back in, you are not changing the date and time back to what it should be. If you want to get the amount of money you should be getting, you will have to reset the date and time every time you turn on your 360 after unplugging it. Or, you could do what many people do and cheat by setting the date to its max year of 2025 (or whatever it is, I forgot), thereby getting 20 or so years worth of gold when you start your game.
