Festival im going to in the summer has the Big 4 headlining one day (Metallica, Slayer, Anthax and Megadeth), Biffy Clyro the next day and Slipknot on 3rd day & they are just the headliners as they have a mix of 100 bands yet to be announced. So its not unusual for festivals etc to have different styled bands to appeal to wider audiences.
