Got my copy today. Is it worth the 12.99 canadian aka 0.04 usd. Not sure yet. I will read

It's 8.99 [from Amazon.com] in the US I believe... I might be wrong
I ordered it like 2 weeks ago. The code comes with the book, and if you order next day shipping, the book arrives to your door the day it comes out (Oct. 5, same as special controller)

Why do Canadians always get stuff first? Except for everything but Fable? Well, nothing but Fable actually counts towards anything at all as anything in life...

The books available now online at Australian book sites like Angusrobertson.com and Borders Australia. So maybe it's available in the US now?

I just bought the book from book depository. $8.99 AU. Quite a good price.

Can't wait to read it.

I'll probably read it. The question is whether I'll read it by getting it from the library or actually buy it.

The further question is whether the library will actually get this one. I doubt that the Fable novel will qualify as a bestseller.

EDIT: Doesn't show up in my library's catalog, but Howard County already has several copies on order and even put them up on the Marina system. So, what the hell. I got my hold in. We'll see what happens.

Alright to answer the questions. First the book is great, good story and what not and it tells mote of fable lore. Minot spoiler (I think) it takes place sometime before fable 3 and you get the feeling that the heroes,balverines, hobbes etc. Don't exist. The common people think it's all exagerations of all the creatures that heroes used to kill. Not actually fact. Which us neat. Means whipping out magic will probably scare people to death in fable 3.

Now the code is inside the book on a thick page. I'm not that far yet but I assume it's near the page the weapon is mentioned. It's not a tear off page so you can't go into chapters and rip out the page easily :p.

One more minor spoiler, it's written in the book that the ruler of Albion (fable 2) is a king. I thought he could have wrote it so it wasn't told he was male or female but oh well.

Mine's on it's way! I checked the two day shipping option on amazon.com, and it should be here by the 5th! I can't wait to have it in my hands!
