Batman: Arkham Asylum

Yeah, I heard everyone saying it was REALLY good, So i decided to hire it.

I actually dont think its that good.

I would personally rate it just a 7/10..

Anyone else the same?

ok then batman isnt ure type of game, because like 75% of people love the game im one of em 10/10 best game of the year so far. but i cant really argue ure opinion.

I might get it just for the name. Arkham is the name for the fictional region where Lovecraft's stories take place, and since insanity and madness is a big part of his literature this game has to be full of delicious Lovecraft references?

This game is amazing ! I love it and aside from some of the more frustrating challenges, have no qualms whatsoever with it. I personally like how they have made it like Batman: The Animated Series cos I loved growing up watching that show as a kid. They also use stuff from the DC comics continuity and it was wicked to see all those references while playing through this game.

The story was great but the ending could have been a lot better if you are like me and completed the entire campaign I am sure you will agree. It was like playing out an extended version of one of the stories from BTAS. Kevin Conroy as Batman and Mark Hamill as The Joker really made this game what it is. AMAZING !

I have never really bothered going around in a game collecting all the collectibles, aside from Fable II , but the Riddler Challenges were incredibly well planned out and fun to find, so I collected them all !

If you already do have the game make sure you get the free DLC maps that were just released cos they are brilliantly entertaining.

9.5/10 for me !

I admit, I do like how they have Alot of Villains in it. That was a high point for me.

But Yeah... I thin kits good, Just not GREAT!

Loved it and thought it was going to suck when i first heard of it. I had no interest in purchasing it at all then heard positive things from people then read lots of good reviews. So with the games drought that was going on and with my boredom i decided to purchase it. Really glad i did because its better than any superhero game ive played to date. Seemed like the developers really were big Batman fans and they got lots of details in there from the comics and lots of 'nods' to other characters in the franchise.

Yeah it is one of the best Superhero games I have played.

Oh yeah and Batman in the game just looks TOO big.. Just a bit too big haha. And the cape is annoying, looks kinda silly too.

I thought that, his physique is too large and the cape almost fills the screen when gliding. :lol:

The riddles are good i must add too and finding the Riddler question marks and trophies.
