Berserk is going to continue where the classic anime left off, continuing the story arc in a BRAND NEW, BEAUTIFULLY ANIMATED SERIES THAT IS STARTING TO AIR IN 2010 ACCORDING TO RUMORS.

only 10 second long teasers are being released so far, BUT I CAN'T CONTROL THE CASE OF MY TEXT OUT OF sheer EXCITEMENT.

I think... I'm gonna explode... They BETTER continue after the original series left off... or even REmake the whole series and continue... Episode 25 leaves you going... WTF I wanna know what happens!!!!

Sadly I have NOT finished the Manga... but I do know the series was essentially the intro to EVERYTHING that happens.

i know exactly what you mean. i read some people saying that clips of those teasers were from story arcs in the manga, but to be honest i only saw clips of the original series.

Trailer 1 - Grifith and Guts (or w/e you call him) dueling in the snow before he leaves the band of the hawk.

Trailer 2 - The episode that introduces Nosferatu Zodd

Trailer 3 - This is the one that puzzles me. it could be the episode after kaska falls off a cliff and Guts nurses her back to health... but it could also be just after the original anime ends, and she wakes up with her memory completely gone. I'm not sure which. =]

i really hope that isn't the case. right now i'm trying my best to follow a black lagoon OVA and it's been months since the first episode came out... still waiting.

Cheeze, I don't mind this spoiler as I'm asking for it... but do Kasca and Gatts still stay together after she loses her memories? Please tell me they do or I will be a sad wolfie...

whether they do or they don't well... it's hard to answer.
i know he looks after her, but she doesn't remember ANYTHING. i haven't even read the manga, just read spoilers, but she can't even speak at first and has the naiveness of a child. that makes an easy target for cult leaders, rapists, anyone who prays on stupid or vulnerable adults. Guts kind of looks after her, but she goes off and does her own thing every once and a while. they're never really apart, but not always together... if that makes any sense.

EDIT: sorry if that above one was a spoiler... i thought you both had read ahead in the manga. being the only other members who follow berserk, i figured it would be ok to post spoilers to the very beginning of the second story arc. sorry if i ruined anything.

X2 EDIT: Judging from this link i've personally deduced that it is not going to be a movie. that picture of the elf is manga cannon, and takes place in later story arcs. therefore, i believe it to be a new anime. an OVA is possible, but i don't find it likely. there's a lot of ground to cover in Berserk, so i'm guessing it's a new anime series of shows.

in a nutshell what every berserk fan has been wishing for for over a decade now.
it's basically the Duke Nukem forever of anime if you ask me. :lol:

Hmm, well it kinda makes me sad though... kinda sickly feeling in my stomach that makes me hate Griffith... SOOOOOOOO much....

I really enjoyed the relationship they'd developed... To know it gets ripped away from Gatts makes me sad... *sigh* I need to read the manga now... I need to know how everything ends... I NEED CLOSURE DAMMIT...

Still, looking forward to the series coming out, renewing the amazingness of Berserk.

Gatts = Fighter/Barbarian with levels in Weapon Master. Sorry, D&D talkin heh. Gatts is supremely badass among ANY mortal characters in ANY anime imo.

Edit: Wanted to mention, (trying to avoid spoilers) at the end, the part between Judau and Kasca... got to me. I love Judau, one of my favorite characters. Gatts, Kasca, then Judau are my top 3.
