Bethesda having hard time with Sonys online service
Seems according to reports Bethesda (Elder Scrolls Oblivion) are having difficulty with Sonys online service. Bethesda want to support downloadble content for Oblivion like they have for the PC and Xbox 360, but they have no clue about how to implement that feature to the PS3 version as Sony didnt release enough information to games developers early enough and the developers have been claiming the programming process is to difficult for Sonys online service.
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is being released for PS3 on 23rd March.

Spokesperson Pete Hines said:“We plan to support downloadable content on PS3, but we couldn’t tell you how or when it will be out, because it’s not clear how we’re going to do that yet,” said spokesperson Pete Hines. He added, “Although it’s impossible to say which is the better between [Xbox Live and PS3 Online], Xbox Live is easier to implement because we’ve had a much better sense of it an earlier state than with PS3 and it seems easier to work with.”
