Big Update On Way For S.T.A.L.K.E.R

It has just been announced by Anton Bolshakov, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. project that the game will receive a big update quite soon. Concentrating on the multiplayer aspect of the game, he has said more details will be revealed in July at E3.

We're preparing a big update with a new game mode - Freeplay, with no story tasks, including only the A-life driven ones, where the goal is to gain ranks, climb up in rankings, so as to become the best S.T.A.L.K.E.R. in the Zone.

THat's cool. Some sort of "sandbox" mode is always a nice idea, in any game.

Seems like a lot of really interesting and exciting news about a lot of games will be surfacing at E3 next month.

Which is both awesome and slightly ironic considering E3's reduced "importance".
