I think bigger avatars would be a decent idea. There would be more options and cooler avs.

I think 100x100 is big enough really, most forums use 80x80 so....

Bigger in dimensions....They are big enough
Though I'd love some bigger filesize - would allow some of the more pimped-out GIF animations.

Bigger avatars tend to clog up the screen like a bad sewer line anyway. They're really just a little gimmick to add a bit of flavor to your user account on forums, but nothing more.

I've been to forums where the maximum size allowed for both avatars and sigs was ridiculous. It was annoying. Some of the sigs here can cause some problems, too, though that might be a case of me using IE.

One of the best things that makes Firefox own E.I so hard is the oh so sweet CTRL+T function - I hate having multiple windows with different websites open at the same time, this is so much easier and not so messy.

yeah, you can also click your little scrolly thing on the mouse to make new tabs appear if you know what I'm talking about.

Just to make things clear - avatar dimensions will not increase beyond 100x100, possibly ever. As for increasing the filesize; I will consider it however it is unlikely due to the fact that not only does it take longer for users to download and thereby increase the amount of time to load an image. It also means that avatars that are ridiculassly large in filesize will just consume my bandwidth alot faster.
