BioShock 2 Getting Single-Player Protector Trials in August

As reported on Monday following the revelation of some new PS3 trophies on our sister site, um, PS3 Trophies, BioShock 2 will be getting a new batch of DLC content.

Entitled 'Protector Trials', the forthcoming DLC is comprised of single-player challenges that involve collecting ADAM and completing tasks Modern Warfare 2 spec-ops style to earn stars.

Presumably, if there are trophies for the PS3 version, then new achievements are pretty much a foregone conclusion for the BioShock 2 Protector Trials DLC, which launches on August 3rd. Pricing is still to be confirmed.
