Bioshock Infinite coming in Oct

Irrational Games eagerly awaited new title in the Bioshock franchise has been finally given a release date and it will be hitting shelves on October 16th in North America and October 19th internationally. Ken Levine, creative director of Irrational Games had the following to say:​

After BioShock, we had a vision for a follow up that dwarfed the original in scope and ambition. BioShock Infinite has been our sole focus for the last four years, and we can't wait for fans to get their hands on it.​

I definitely can't wait for this. One of my must-buy's for 2012. I'll mark October 19th on my calender.

Im kind of glad its ages away because I have sooo many games to finish at the moment and ME3 on way next week and then got my eye on a couple of other games in next few months.

Not sure about the setting though. Rapture ranks up high on my list of favourite video game settings. There's just something deliciously Lovecraftian over an undersea city like that.

I'll probably play that and some other games around that time till I can see what Halo 4 is all about.
