Bioshock Movie??

So, I was looking for Bishock voice actors this morning. Cause I've been playing a lot of the game. And I saw something interesting.

Bioshock (2010)

A movie? I'm so excited. I trust the ineternetMovieDatabase.

BioShock movie in development, Gore Verbinski directing (Pirates of the Caribbean)

If this is old news. I'm sorry. But I searched and didn't find anything.

This is new news to me! :w00t: A Bioshock movie?? COOLNESS. Gotta admit that I wasn't a big fan of the game... but the story was really interesting to me. Good to hear that the same guy behind Pirates of The Caribbean will be directing the Bioshock movie, too. +rep Sephi!

Loved the game but im unsure how much justice a game to movie adaptation would do it. After all there havent been many successful ones to note.

Isn't Bioshock like Half Life 2, but with a lot more zombies? Or is it more like Time Splitters? I was going to get it, but I got Grand Theft Auto 4. :thumbsup:

If you mean game tie ins there has been good a few like DOA, DOOM,
HITMAN, House Of The Dead 1 & 2, Silent Hill they are all great movies

Bioshock has RPG elements to it, its not partially like HL2 and nothing like Timesplitters. Timesplitters was more like an arcade game with its speed.

DOA. Doom and House Of The Dead movies all sucked, DOA had some hot girls in it but thats it. Silent Hill werent bad though but it wasnt really good either.

you should, it's really fun, and the story's pretty good as well(The game gets really creepy after the first couple of minutes though)

Oh bio shock twas a great game, my friend and I were talking about the movie a few weeks ago and he said that the director of the pirates of the carrabian was tied in for directing the film. so it should be fun with lots of cgi for plasmids and houdani splicers!(sorry for mis spelling)
