Bioshock Sea of Dreams Story confirmed.. The no big daddies reaction??

Couple of days ago i read an article that chieved me off:

the story is apparently the big sister has kidnapped some dudes daughter. He chases after the Big Sister... Leads him to rapture and....... NO ************* Big Daddies (Rumored.)

However i can rejoyce

And thats when the good thing happens, you become the big daddy. and you own other big daddies' ass. no confirmation of splicers however. But still they're back.

Did anyone else get the same reaction.

I dont mind if there arent any Big Daddies, however its mere speculation at the moment but if thats what they want to do to enhance the story or use something in their place then i dont mind. Im sure 2K know what they are doing and doubt they would in fact scrap the Big Daddy anyway.

It'll be heard to keep up with the first game. with a 9 or 10 rating from most websites.

2K Games have killed off some rumours today:

There won't be any spliced-up rhinos, Soviet invasions, or co-op, but you may very well see a Big Daddy or two. We will be posting the first BioShock 2 podcast along with some other Cult of Rapture exclusives on April 13.

They can't just scrap the Big Daddy like that. I didn't believe it for a second. It would be like Sega scrapping Sonic, or Nintendo scrapping Mario.
