Black & White; Will it Ever Return?
On my list of favorite games I've ever played, and on games I've played, Black & White is #1 on all of them. It was a nearly perfect game, but the sequel did not live up to expectations. Instead of trying to get the people to believe in you, you either conquered them or made them Europe in the 1700's and 18'00s while you made America. Didn't like it, but the Creature Fighting was a big advancement. I loved how my lion jumped on them and started tearing their face off.
But, will they ever continue the series? The B&W franchise was fantastic, had potential, and still does. I just want them to take the original's elements and open-ended spirit and combine it with the sequel's creature combat and the armies (not the conquering and migrating; I personally did not like that).
So, does anyone think a third could be created in the future? If they don't, at least they gave B&W modding tools and replay value.
