Boats

Fable 3 should have boats that you can ride around the seas of Albion. Like say you want to become a pirate of some sort. It would be very fun. It could be like, you need to navigate and get to some place where you can only get to buy sea. And it could add some more open world experience

I don't think it would sit completely flush with Fable, though. I'd rather just have like a loading screen or something instead of a boat ride. Maybe you can go out and pirate, but have it more like a mini game.

Well if in fable, you are supposed to be able to become anyone, I think you should be able to become a notorious pirate. Not as a mini-game, but as part of the main game

But there's the emphasis on "supposed to" isn't there? You really only become what PM wants you to become. :lol:

I like the idea of being a pirate in Fable, it really appeals to me. I just can't see how they could implement it without it feeling tacked on and an "addition" to the game, rather than a part of it.

Well... Being on a boat or getting a job as a crew member (Puzzle Pirates FTW!) would be pretty cool.

Can't really see it happening though.

Maybe there could be quests or jobs where you go out and fight as a pirate, or fight against them. I don't think you should take a boat out and steer it towards your enemies, though. I think there should just be a loading screen that takes you from the docks to the enemy ship.

Oh, and Stepbrothers was a pretty terrible movie.

Be nice to have a boat that allows you to travel to different parts of the fable world but nothing you can operate your selves.

well basically I imagined that you'd start on a small boat, and then while you're out at sea you see a better boat. so you drop an anchor and swim out towards the bat and steal it by climbing into it and then attacking whoever is on the boat.
