Bribes

I was checking my status then i saw somthing i hadn't seen before... bribes. :noexpression: it says that I can give people bribes, ... i think. if you know anything about it please tell me.

Well, first, you might want to change your "Location" in your profile, your address is visible.
Second, bribing has never really worked for me, you can choose to "bribe" guards, they will leave, but return shortly after

i believe hes talking about the fable guards, whereas you pay them 1000 gold to turn their backs while you steal within a time limit. and yea change your address before i copy and paste it on here for the whole world to see forever and ever

Yep the guards will turn their backs and you can commit an aray of small, petty crimes. So killing people and I use the term losely is still illegal.

If you are unsure as to whether your bribe is working, try going up to a guard...they will keep turning from you as if you do not exist...then you can go steal stuff

That never worked for me
I would pay them, then break into a shop and try to steal stuff, then they would walk in and give me a fine :hmm:

It works sometimes, but a couple it hasn't. A couple times I was able to pick the lock, walk in, and steal everything. A couple others I bribed him, walked in, and got jumped/fined.

The guards are too corrupted, they cannot be bought, those puny animals.

Listen for the wistling, when they stop wistling, run!!!!! or Bribe em some more but make sure ur away from the scene of the crime when they stop whistlng

I never have problem thieving=] Maybe it's because I was using a trainer...lol
Anyways,I thought it's when you apoligize a guard.

never worked with me...bribed them and then just got caught...maybe i just took too long

This is VERY old. Perhaps not revive it to no purpose?

But yes, if you're too blatant it doesn't work, also if you take too long.

They never work for me. Even if you did get all the gaurds to take a break, after stealing you still lost profit. :thumbsup:

I'm pretty sure I already said this, but the only time I got this to work was in one Oakvale shop. I was able to bribe the guard, break in, and rob the place empty. If I timed it right, the store would restock just about the time I had picked everything up and I could get still more stuff to go sell back to the owner.

And you don't need to do all the guards-- just the ones who stand or patrol near your target.
