Buying Rock Band

Rock band is out today the whole set with game is £180 and if I want to play it at night I have to buy silincers for the drums and they cost £15 I have definitly reconsidered buying it looks Identical to guitar hero so im not throwing £195 down the drain for a Guitar hero look alike

But I want to know what you people think I should do Buy it or leave it until I go to an all nighter next friday to see what it is like

Re: Buying Rock Band

Well in rockband I believe it's possible to play drums, bass, guitar and vocals.
Wheras in GH it's only possible to play the guitar.

Re: Buying Rock Band

While GH is more for the anti-social rockstar wannabe (me), Rock Band is more of a social thing you do with friends or at a party.

Re: Buying Rock Band

Not that id buy it but the price we have to pay is insane.

Re: Buying Rock Band

I believe the Rock Band guitar has a place to play the bass and a place to play the guitar.

Re: Buying Rock Band

I own RockBand for the PS3, I also own all three guitar heros plus the 80's setlist (which sucks btw). In regards to the RockBand vs. Guitar Hero, RockBand wins hands down for me.

Although in Guitar Hero you get more focus on the guitar but the gameplay as a whole in RockBand is alot better. Not to mention the downloadable content and songs for RockBand.

My Personal Ratings:
RockBand - 9.0
Guitar Hero - 9.0
Guitar Hero II - 8.0
Guitar Hero Rock the 80's - 5.0
Guitar Hero III - 6.5

I have no deisre to purchase Guitar Hero IV considering the dissapointment from the last two installments.
