1) its not a mansion, its a castle.

2) you can buy it and do half the mission and never go to the basement to lurk for the potion. Thats what i did and when someone wanted to buy the potion Id finish the mission and meet them there.

I have the bottle glitched up so it can be drank FOREVER! its pretty nice.

Well, you have to have a friend with you to do so. You get the potion, then trade it with a friend, then leave, then have him or her trade it back. It lasts forever. Its pretty great.
