I am fairly certain that The Shardborne Sword is the code that is included in "Fable: The Balverine Order" book. I know that the book talks about the Black Dragon pistol, but until I saw your post I had not heard about it actually being in Fable 3. Please post any links to web pages that reference such a code/weapon in Fable 3.

No, the Black Dragon isn't available to the player in Fable 3. It's widely speculated that Reaver's gun in Fable 3 is the Black Dragon (as it looks different to the other Dragonstomper .48s) but the player cannot acquire it as of yet.
