Can I play Fable: TLC on my comp?

Someone recommended me to get this game on my laptop, but I've had issues with gaming on my laptop before, so I thought it'd be sensible to ask about the specs and see if I can play the game before buying it. I've made the mistake of buying games and not being able to play them before.

It's a Dell Inspiron 1520 with Vista. Here's a dxdiag.

Heh, you have almost the exact same set up as my wife! There's a good chance your Inspiron can run Fable: The Lost Chapters but, if anything, I'd say your graphics card would be the reason it didn't. Definitely check out the thread DD suggested and let me know if you can get Fable working on your notebook. If it does, I'd love to install it on my wife's notebook.

Unfortunately, from checking out on the "System Requirements Lab" everything is pretty much above the recommended setting apart from the video card which is pretty much at the lowest interval. How sucky is that?

And as well, my laptop is the type which pretty much disallows any sort of customization, so I'm stuck with it, unless I decide to get a desktop. I hate gaming on PC's.

Re: Can I play Fable: TLC on my comp?

i think you can do it. ive got a laptop too and it runs fable just fine. if your processors run at 1.5 ghz each it should be ok. my graphics card is almost the same as yours so its highly probable that you can play it. fables and older game so that just adds to the probablility. and if it doesnt work, you should return it or sell it on the internet
