Cant do archealogist quest!

I dont know if I have done a mistake. I have completed the main quest and I am just doing the side quests now. I am doing the archealogist quest. She gave me the first note which said it was in oldest part of the city, so i went to OLd Bowerstone and got the artifact which is an old parchment. I went back to her and all she keeps saying is :"Have you managed to locate the artifact?" I cant give it her,is it because i have finished the main quest? What do I do to be able to complete this quest without having to re start the game

U can still do the quest even after u beated the game. As for your problem, umm try and go back to Old Bowerstone n see if your dog will find another one? If not, why not sell to the general store in bowerstone general market and buy it again from the store and try that. If that doesn't work, *shrug* I don't know. Hope that will solve it!

i started the quest after the main quest just like you, but didnt run into any troubles. did you try walking a little bit away from her then going back to her? that usually works for me when i cant give something to someone. if it dosnt work, its not the end of the world. its just one quest!:thumbsup:
