Can't Join Friend's Game (may or may not contain spoilers)

So I got the game today and went through the "introduction". When I go to join my friend's game, it says I can't join because he doesn't have all of the same downloadable content. I opened all of the rooms of my sanctuary. My friend hasn't opened the armory yet. Could it be that he needs to download the 'Free Weapons Pack' first? He hasn't downloaded the Lionshead pack that came with the game yet either. I wouldn't think that would matter though. Am I wrong? Anyone else have this issue?

This annoys me because since I got the special edition fable, I will not be able to join any of my friends at all. I tried changing my clothes and dog breed back to what was in the game and no avail.

In order to play online with your friends you will both need to make sure you have the Free weapons DLC which you can get from Xbox Live.

Also u need a gold membership to play together
