Can't Learn Will Ability

I'm stuck on the beginning stages where I have to learn a Will ability and use it on the flowing pink thing. However I don't have enough exp to learn the ability. Can anyone help? Theres nothing nearby to kill either for exp.

Ohh. woops I learned the force ability without knowing. is there anyway to unlearn it? I wanted shock instead
