Can't use augments...Glitch? or something i'm not doing right?

On every file i make i can't use augments on any of the weapon classes rusty, iron, steel, or master....definatly not legendary. Is this a glitch with my disc? or am i not doing the augmenting right?

I believe there are only a select few weapons that can use augments. I have a few on my Master Cleaver, but that's it.
Maybe you should try purchasing different weapons and then trying to attach augments to those.

the augments menu only gives me the option to augment legendary weapons (which can't have seperatly added augments anyway) although i own a master cleaver as well as a bunch of other classes of weapons the menu still only gives me the option to augment legendary weapons

Have you made sure your weapons are 'slotted'? Each weapon can be normal or slotted, meaning that they have the slots for augments. You can tell by looking to the right of the name of the weapon. You'll see small, very pale dots. Those are the augment slots.

no, there arn't any dots next to the names of the master weapons or any other weapons besides legendary. Also in the augmenting menu the option to augment ranged weapons isn't available even with my master flintlocke pistol.

to augment a weapon

- Make sure you buy one with augment slot(s)
- Make sure you have decent augments to start with
- Go into your augments and select one, then select your weapon that is 'slotted'

top tips are: use an augment that has all pros and no cons, for example cursed warrior augment is a no no. Killerwat or lucky charm are yes yes'
- Use a master weapon, don't bother with anything but master unless you're using legendary.

P.s, new gamers can spot a 'slotted' weapon by it's ridiculous price compared to it's 'unslotted' equivalent, or of course, the pale green circles to the right of the name of the weapon (each circle = one augment slot -> bright green = augment slot is already in use)

no, there arn't any dots next to the names of the master weapons or any other weapons besides legendary.

Then... buy some weapons with empty augment slots.
