Castle Help

Okay so i just bought Fable 2 today, and well, im disappointed, i dont know if im having this problem cause its a used game or what, but, everytime i play, i get to the part where you go to the castle after using the music box, and when the screen gets done loading, nothing really happens, all the people appear, my guy, his sister, the guard looking dude, and the butler, but theres no sound, except when i walk around, just footstep sounds, also when i hit start, usually the thing that tells you the scene has been paused loads quite fast, but it goes extremely slow whenever im at this castle thing. If anyone could offer help thatd be great, but it seems to me gamestop gave me a crappy disk

I also forgot to mention, whenever i open the xbox menu, it basically locks up, or becomes VERY slow

I 'd return it and let them know your problem. Otherwise you could install it to the hardrive and see if it runs better off of that. Hope it works out for you.

Yeah i just tryed that, and after about 30% installation my xbox told me it can read the disk, because its either scratched or dirty, so im gunna return it to gamestop tommorow, this is why i hate buying used games, i never trust them, but i had no option since they had no new copys at either hastings or gamestop, or walmart for that matter, anyway, thanks for the help froggy

If you're getting another copy from Amazon, you can always trust their used games. I've bought quite a few from them, and they all work perfectly.

Im not really sure what i should do, cause basically when i went to gamestop the other day i sold my copy of borderlands and COD WAW, cause i never play them anymore, and i was able to buy fable 2 and then put like $30 down on a preorder of mass effect 2, so should i like, ask for all my money back and buy a copy else where, or should i try to get a better disk from gamestop? cause im pretty sure they had more than just that one copy.

^Exchange it for another copy from Gamestop. They've always been good, they deserve a second chance.

However, in the unlikely event that your second copy from Gamestop doesn't work, get one from Amazon. If that one doesn't work, get your Xbox checked out because it has probably started damaging your discs like it did to me a while back.

I actually decided to just take the copy back, take the money i put down on mass effect 2, and combine the ammount to buy a new copy of fable 2, the platinum hits edition so that i get the DLC as well, plus i dont have to worry about scratches
