Classes and NPCs Idea
As seen in many RPGs, classes should be a new input into Fable 2. Classes allow a player a sense of more individuality, and a game more tilted towards their playing style. Also, if this specific class made NPCs view you differently, it would also add to the already realistic town feel of Fable.
For instance:
If you were a Soldier (Good) people would greet you, and you would have a fighting style leaned more on up-close melee swordplay.
If you were an Assassin (Evil) people would tend to ignore you, and stay out of your way. The fighting and playing style would be more stealth and marksman.
If you were an Overlord (Evil) people may run, even cower in fear. You would be the brutal savage, with the clubs and maces.
(etc. You get the point)
And I know people may think NPCs already interact differently based on your good/evil gauge. But you can be good but still intimidate, you can be evil and respected, maybe because you instill fear in people. Different classes just make NPC reactions more realistic.
Also, unless this was far too much work on Lionhead's part, certain quests could have various ways of accomplishing them. I know a few games that prominently show this, but right now all I can think of is Assassin's Creed, due for release later this year. (Ex. If you had to take out a bandit leader- Either go straight in and kill all in your path (Soldier) or sneak in over the walls and disguise and assassinate the leader (assassin or thief). Also, based on the way you did it, you can get certain XP like that.)
Just an idea however.
