Co-op infertile glitch

I don't know if this is an actual glitch or there's an actual reason as to why this is happening.

My co-op partner and I got married in my game and had a child. Not only is it annoying that the child doesn't acknowledge the biological parent (i.e he can't do any of the parent actions towards her) but when we go to his game to have a child for some reason its not happening.

Anyone else experiencing this or can fill me in on why its happening. If you have any further question about the situation feel free to ask.

I haven't had the infertility issue (yet), but I too was unable to use the family interactions with the child my co-op partner and I had while in her game. We haven't tried to have a kid yet in my game - I'll post here again if we can't.
