co-op=pointless

alright, so co-op is...

yea pretty lame. you cannot use your character, you only get the choice of pre-made characters (if your playing as the guest)

That's only Couch Co-op.

That might not be the case for online.

And your statement sucks. Your still playing together which is the whole point of Co-op.

Yeah but don't you get too edit the character around a bit e.g. their weapons or clothes?

no. this is 'online' co-op i am talking about, i found my friends orb, joined his game and now i only have the choice of pre made characters

dont take this personal, its not just you, but everyone who is playing the game right now all says the same thing as me 'you cannot use your character in co-op' you only get your abilities and attributes, not your appaearance.

and everyone who 'isnt' playing the game is trying to wrong us all and saying we're noobs, yet who are the ones playing?

Lol? You only got the game because you live in America/Australia OR because you were one of the lucky bastards that got the game early......

Your a henchman in their game world and not a Hero character (so obviously not going to be able to use your own character), i thought everyone knew this. Also a lot of data to be transferred if you could use your own character (every haircut, scar, tattoo, item of clothing, weapon etc).

:[ that sucks. i thought you had your hero's appearance. at least you get your attribs. do you get your weapons? i know you said abilities but some weapons are more powerful than others etc.

im not sure, i didnt even wanna give co-op a try after that, but what is really cool are the neat little orbs, whereever your friends are, is where u will see their orb, so for example, my friend was in bowerstone at the same time i was, and i saw his orb, we both sat there like 'wtf?' and his orb was moving, so i folllowed his orb, he then sent me a PM saying hey i see your orb and your following me! then another friend of mine entered bowerstone and i saw 2 orbs moving around. pretty cool!

I wondered how that orb idea was going to work, quite an interesting little feature they have pulled of there. ^_^

I wonder if you can turn it off because i don't particularly want little orbs floating around whilst i'm attempting to complete a quest etc...they'd just distract me

the orbs is cool. its kind of annoying you can't have the looks of your own character but as long as you have your weapons, attributes and abilities it's not too bad.

trust me, the orbs are no distraction, and their more cool than anything else lol.

your most likely only going to run into other friend orbs while in a town, and u can only see orbs of those friends that are playing fable

I already knew that. The rumors are messing things up. If you visit their world, then you can see them, and vice versus. ;)

exactly. why is everyone crying about it? if you want to show off your stuff then get someone to go into YOUR world that way your not only showing of your stuff but also the world you created through your actions.

Yeah, I'm really looking forward to that. I can't wait to see my friends worlds. It's going to be so much fun.:)

I agree that with out your armor and weapons the co-op is a little lame, but it is still co-op so its ok. Hopefully they make a patch to include the armor and weapons.
